A cross-functional body approves AI initiatives, reviews risk, and ensures alignment with this statement. This committee meets periodically to:

• Ensure strategy aligns with policy and ethics.
• Review the use of AI systems and decision criteria for AI-related choices.
• Ensure data processing complies with privacy laws.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on risk.
• Periodically assess conformity and effectiveness.
• Review and update this statement at least annually or when new regulations, technologies, or business models emerge.

As an organization, we commit to the following principles:

• Human-centric review: AI assists, not replaces, meaningful human decision-making where appropriate (e.g., safety, risk, compliance, employment, finance, or personal rights); All externally published content, client deliverables, and learning materials are reviewed and curated by humans prior to publication or use.
• Privacy is a priority: data minimization, purpose limitation, and data protection by default in all AI systems.
• Transparency and explainability: Provide understandable explanations for AI-driven outcomes when feasible, and document the model's purpose, limitations, and decision logic at a level appropriate for the audience.
• Fairness and non-discrimination: Commit to using AI in ways that support fairness, inclusion, transparency, learning, and human dignity; proactively assess and mitigate biases; monitor disparate impact across protected classes and geographies.
• Safety and security: Build and ensure secure systems, conduct risk assessments, and use secure data applications.
• Reliability: AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or biases. We use AI as a support tool rather than a substitute for professional judgment, contextual expertise, or relational understanding. We validate data and monitor use cases and performance.
• Sustainability and ethics: Consider societal impact, environmental footprint, and ethical implications of AI use.

• Data minimization & classification: Use only data necessary for the defined purpose; avoid unnecessary or excessive data collection, and classify data by sensitivity to apply corresponding protections.
• Data processing agreements: Ensure lawful basis for processing (e.g., consent, legitimate interests, contract, legal obligation) and maintain data processing records.
• Cross-border transfers: Comply with applicable data transfer rules (e.g., GDPR requirements, SCCs & beyond) and perform data transfer impact assessments when needed.
