Self-Diversity (Eigenvielfalt) Facilitator Certification
The Self-Diversity Facilitator Certification prepares individuals who are seeking to deliver Self-Diversity (Eigenvielfalt) workshops in a variety of settings such as schools, universities, communities, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies, corporations & beyond. Based in the science of biology and anthropology, Self-Diversity describes a powerful skill that enhances one’s ability to navigate cultural diversity and relate across differences.
Certified Self-Diversity facilitators apply and personalize a proven framework to equip their participants with the resilience, adaptability, and flexibility required by increasing diversity.
Program Description
Aspiring facilitators are guided through their own journey to understand the power of identity and leverage their unique background, experiences, and perspectives to facilitate cultural transformation and development. They will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to guide workshop participants in:
- Understanding the biological foundations and stages of individual and sociocultural development.
- Exploring how culture shapes one’s sense of identity, perceptions, beliefs, behaviors and interactions.
- Identifying dimensions of cultural differences and universals, as well as cultural manifestations through real-life scenarios.
- Developing one’s unique sense of self-diversity and using it to inform and inspire cultural adaptation and integration.
- Engaging participants in transformative learning experiences using experience-based facilitation techniques.
